Is there such a thing? I received these couple pics from an eBay seller with a shift knob. It's the good weighted one. Anyway, the seller tells me "The item is from Mitisubishi China factory with dealer packaging" and lists the item as genuine.

I'm HOPING this Chinese number cross references to the regular P/N: MR263906

I can't answer the part-number question, but it's true that Mitsu makes parts in China. They have three plants there: Sou-East, ChengFeng, and GuangZhou. This is one reason why I giggle when people go on about "eBay parts from China" for their Evo X. I haven't had the heart to tell them that a small proportion of their very fancy car comes from China in the first place.

That's the link I'm looking at. I bet I know what forum you went to, too haha. I'll try calling Mitsubishi tomorrow and asking about the P/N. Then if it checks out I'll be the guinea pig and come back here with my review :thumb:

Just what I figured. I called a couple Mitsubishi dealers and they couldn't cross reference the number, there wasn't really a way. I wonder if there is a Chinese version of the parts program ASA/CAPS that I could download.

This is my other related thread on the shift knob
