Checking Oil Jets

This might be a silly question, and i've searched but can't find the direct answer i'm looking for. A buddy and I are rebuilding his motor on a 98 GSX (first rebuild for me) and we just got the block, crank and head back from the machine shop. They hot tanked the block but I realized I left the Oil Jets in when we gave it to them. I don't believe they took them out when hot tanking.

Is that going to ruin the oil squirters? How can I check to make sure they're working? We're putting stock pistons in, so i'd like to keep them.

I always either replace them or block them off with those blocks.

Awesome. I'll just replace them then. I'd rather not block them off with this set-up.

What block offs are you talking about bryan? These are the ones pressed into the main journals, not the bolt on style.

Ha, the way he worded it made it sound a lot more specific. I did end up using ss plugs though.
