Looks like the previous owners put a Manual Boost Controller on, and they pluged the wastegate signal hose. I guess I should get an aftermarket boost gauge so I can tell how well that MBC works.

well you cant even see the wastegate in the pic. that nipple comming off the compressor is supposed to be pluged off when you install a mbc.check where the bottom hose is connected to, i bet its the wastegate.

looks like a normal way of connecting it to me (not the way i would)
