It sounds like a huge boost leak. Same thing happened to me a few years ago.

all the ic piping is good no leaks there but check this out when i pushed say 25 psi through it wasnt leaking but i was barely getting air up through the intake right before the bov

idk what kind of intake that is and the filter is just from auto zone

main question was what could make it so slow to rev up in the video thats full throttle

If your barely getting air to the bov when you do a boost leak test at 25psi i would pull the intercooler and see if it has a blockage.

Bov not recirculated? You need reciculate it with a maf in use. Also you need to adjust that greddy bov there a bi*** to work with I can hear it flutter. What turbo are you running btw? 1g crushed bov ftw, and make sure your bov is not leaking around the flange. No tuning device? You still need to tune the car with that combo. Start boost leak tester go to town when its quite tighten down all clamps and seal all leaks.

No tuning device yet im working on getting the setup. This is my first dsm i havent had the chance to adjust the bov yet was mainly worried about getting it running right. Bought the car for 850 and well yeah get what ya paid for been sifting through all kinds of probs. And it has a 16g turbo running 18psi not sure which 16g tho

Good price tho. Follow this guide even tho it may say do before tuning skip the tuning steps, follow the steps to get your car running top notch. http://www.dsmtuners.com/forums/ecmlink-tuning-log-file-advice/443297-please-read-before-you-ask-ecmlink-dsmlink-log-advice.html Also best thing is ngk bpr7es spark plugs gapped to .028 and ngk blue spark plug wires. Also feel free change fuel filter and fresh oil change. These basics to start. Try get that bov recirculated? Do you have wideband? Try to save up to get one. Fuel pump upgrade be nice too, but maintanance first. Also have you checked oil leaks? And last check for boost leak on jpipe (shinny pipe coming off the turbo and all intercooler pipes for leakage.

Your bov should have a vac line going to the intake mani. Your wastegate shoulder have one line from the acuator to a near by boost source normally a nipple on the jpipe and boost controller in line with that. If yours isn't this way change it because its probably the problem

well i thought maybe it could be the cat and i double and triple checked all my lines and vacuum lines because i am getting about -7psi for vacuum and i re timed it but i took the exhaust off right after the 02 housing and its still doing that only now it wont rev past 1000rpm i done a blt and i have 0 boost leaks just put a different 2g maf on and still does it im going to recheck the wiring to plug on the maf and the wires going to the ecu tomorrow

figured it out did a compression test and.... the results were most undesirable 55-75 all across not 155 just 55
