I just got my new body kit installed, but the gaps are not to my liking. I think it needs wire mesh or something to fill the gap in the middle and maybe on the sides too. I do want to get driving lights yet.

any opinions and if wire mesh is the choice, how would I go about installing it?

i installed my mesh from behind. cut & bent the edges to fit perfect, then used fiberglass reinforced body filler, and smoothed it over the mesh & kit to hold it into place. holds up awesome after 3 years!

i dont no were to get it -- but the "egg crate" stuff ford uses in there newer grills would be nice.

It seems bomex doesnt fill any gaps in the front, except an intercoolers, but that isnt an option for you... but i agree you need something there...

With nothing...

Hope this helps

is there an easy way to install it, or do I have to take the whole bumper off again?

id say use some epoxy, and there are ways of installing it without takin off yrou front bumper but you may take the chance of scratchin your paint during install....but give the epoxy a try and not to much..a lil dab will do ya ;)

oh and not to sound smart, but just find a tape measure and you can find out what size lights to get :D usually the fog lights have the size written somewhere on the box or on the web

forget tape, man. best thing to do is to use a urethane compound or maybe fiberglass resin. you will need to take off the bumper completely, trace out the holes with cardboard templates and leave tabs/flaps on them about 2 inch wide and 4 inch long every 10 inch or so. then when u cut the mesh to shape, put it on the holes, bend the tabs towards the bumper and use the urethane/resin to attach those to the bumper. dont use screws, the plastic can crack on the bumper and u'll be worse off than u started and have a crack in the bumper

why is she wearing clothes?

I thought 2gs made the girls want to strip and get "busy"

I guess it's just me though ;)
