Well I'll be installing my cat and cat-back tomorrow, and after its on I want to be sure there are no leaks... What is the best way of testing for leaks?

Best way I can think of is to just lay on the ground and watch. You can usually see the exhaust or def. smell it if you have leaks.

take a bundle of rags and cap off the end of the exhaust. it will hiss at the drain holes for the muffler but other then that it should be sealed. if it seals real good the motor will probably slow down.

edit>> i kinda made it sound like you could just stuff the rags in then go. you will need 2 people. one to hold the rags over the exhaust pipe and one to find the leaks if there are any

If you dont' find any at first, drive the car for a few days/weeks and go back behind and check for soot. Loosen, adjust and retighten the exhaust to try and eliminate any remaining leaks.

umm...you could use your ears, they're pretty easy to hear or even smell

also make sure you only tighten everything up once it is all fitted

put all of the hangars on and get every bolt started
then tighten

this would also be a good time to replace any bad exhaust hangar since this exhaust uses all of the stock mounting locations

alright thanks for the fast replies.... Now i just gotta wait for it to show up at my door
