I have a 1995 talon 2.0 n/t. Waterpump was leaking so pulled timing belt and waterpump off and replaced. After running a few minutes check engine light comes on, I scanned it with my snap on scanner and it comes up with code for timing belt skipping one or more teeth, I have pulled apart and retimed several times and timing is always on the money. Car also has a slight miss/stumble at idle but runs great at higher rpms. I have done timing belts before and have had the shop foreman at the truck dealership that i work at check out and we are both lost. Help PLEASE tired of pulling what hair I have left out. Timmy

Thanks, I have already cleared codes several times with scanner and unhooked battery everytime i have checked or tried to retime. I will go recheck the flash code again. I have a chilton manual and it is what says o2 code but does not have list for my specific car. Would O2 cause a rough idle??? I also don't know why or how the snap on scanner can tell belt has slipped. DO you know where the crank and cam sensors are? Maybe I bumped one of them during install. We had a trans out of a durango awhile ago at work and it drove my tech nuts because light cel came on and it missed bad, we later found that he bumped crank sensor and it could not read off of flywheel. Thanks for all of the help so far. Can't wait till my baby is back to normal.
THANKS FOR ALL THE HELP SO FAR HOPEFULLY WE CAN GET MY BABY RUNNING GOOD AGAIN. TIMMY
