Hello everybody. i have a 1g 91 gsx with a bui;t motor and a 16g running 15psi. recently i was sort of beating on it, and now at idle, the check engine light comes on, but the second you with the gas or raise the idle, it goes away. i thought it could be my oil pressure, but my oil is at the correct level, and there is no noticable leaks anywere, includinng around my oil cooler. if anybody has any insight on how i could fix this problem that would be great! Thanks!:)

Had same issue with mine. Was getting I think code 14 air flow sensor reading. At an idle the sensor was seeing airflow below it's threshold and threw a CEL. As soon as there was more air flowing past the sensor it went away. When it dropped from gear into neutral it would sometime die as well. Think the threshold for low air was 50mhz.

I at the time had the air can removed. I reinstalled the aircan and it went away. Could of been the aircan being reinstalled, or me fiddling with the wire plug. What I didn't get is if it was the plug I may of gotten other CEL from the other sensors as well, or if the one wire for the air sensor was loose and other were fine.
