check engine light after IC pipe install

alright so i just got my new upper IC pipe installed, thought i checked all the connections (pipe and wiring) and got everything bolted back up. i went to start my car and the check engine light came on. i kept it running shortly while i went back under the hood to check on everything. it seemded to be running just fine, no unusual smell or sounds coming from it. any ideas?

mine did the same thing...

i believe it threw the manifold absolute pressure light....i just reset it and hasn't come back on yet, about 500 miles later.

how did you reset it?

Disconnnect neg terminal from battery, wait 30 seconds, reconect.

thanks for the help. i removed the neg. battery terminal for 30 seconds and it did the trick.
