I have a 95 GST and today i installed an safc II and set everything to Zero and set the sensor type to Karmar and about ten minutes down the road my check engine light kicked on. The car isn't making any wierd noises or anything like that. and I'm prettysure everything is hooked up right. the only problem i had was pin number 58..there was no wire for that pin. so i can't hookup my RPM wire off the S-afc. Can any one help with why the check engine light is on? and maybe why there isn't a pin number 58 for my RPM's?

Thanks, Chris

You need to get the CEL read so you'll know exactly what's going on. I think Autozone can do it for free if you don't have a logger. It could be related or not.

As for the rpm wire, check the ECU pinout diagrams on VFAQ.com and make sure you are set up correctly.
