cheap way to run 750 injectors?

Okay i plan on getting MAF-T to run with my 750's wally 255 16g fmic 3in exhaust and 272's. is the only thing i need to tune the injectors the maf kit from extreme. i dont understand what the box tunes? and how i change it? i feel stupid asking
do you need the translator pro?

you shouldnt need maft pro.

I wouldn't run an injector that big with the translator. You are going to run into excess timing issues.

So cheap is nice I wish I could buy everything cheap, life would be so much easier. But seriously if wanna tune right and run bigger injectors for bigger boost. Find a cheap deal on ecmlink maybe on classifieds or wait for a sale. You can mess with anything else, but I can garentee you won't be happy with the results nor will your car. The package deal all in the that ecmlink offers has logger and full tune compatibilites. Just my opinion tho but do what it as you wish.

Link great way to go i had the maft for a while got sick of it, run any size injectors. Cant beat that.

If im correct the safc stops at 650cc, never owned one but i could be wrong, i remember i was going to get one then i couldnt run 880s i had once.

Tis true about 650cc's on a safc but you can only fool the stock ecu so much. I would stick with 550cc's at most no more then 15psi on a 16g being the limits I have seen on the dyno when I use to run that setup. To OP try save up for some really good software. You can try find a year 98-99 dsm black ecu and flash tune it with software for about $200, or find a cheap version of ecmlink. Altho you should be able to run 15 psi on a 16g with stock injectors. That is what I am doing right now until my 1000cc's come in, no issues.

From a former maft user please don't use it. I ran some 750's for a short time and said the hell with it. Either you are too rich or you are too lean. It was a nightmare. It worked ok for smaller injectors like 550's, never tried any kind of 660,680s.

I even added a safc to fine tune and it helped but still a headache.

Save your money and get the dsmlink.

Cheap version of link 375 for most thats all you need. Sometimes you can get it cheaper if you know who to ask.

Ive been recently running into a program called Otrich 2.0. Seems like a good and cheaper link alternative. I currently have an safc 2 and I hate. I've been looking into the Ostrich 2.0 and it really seems like a good option if, like me, you dont nor will you have the funds for link.

Ostrich isn't a program, it is an eprom emulator. You will have to run either jackal, ds.map, or tuner pro to use the Ostrich. If you already have an eprom ecu than you can just have a custom chip made to compensate for the injectors. I actually make custom chips. If you are interested pm me.

Guess I should have worded that better. It is an eprom emulator not a program. A custom burned chip isnt a bad idea either but they are a one time tune unlike the Ostrich which is rewritable.

Out of curiousity though, and because I wont be doing anything more to my car, how much do you charge on a custom chip?

i ran 750cc with a 16g with the maft and had to many problems tuning it and its true 750cc are to big for a 16g i changed them to 550 and the car put out 368hp and the car was a blast
