The rear subframe had a lot of surface rust, so I needed to stop it before it became structural.


After hours with a wire wheel and Rustoleum


Cleaned up the front cross member and parts of the front subframe. Oil and heat must have kept the rust out of the engine bay.

New caliper brackets and painted front calipers.

I did away with the heat shields, but didn't like how close the brake lines came to the rotors. So I used some metal tape to protect them.

That's pretty much it for the chassis until I get some coil overs.
