I think i'm getting tired of my GSX, possibly looking to getting a different car. I've been building this car since March and i'm just tired of it. I want a car that runs and that's reliable. Any of you guys have the same problem?

Uhhhm NO.

Mitsubishi has that new service plan though. First 35,000 miles of service is ALL free.
My GSX is pretty reliable.

14.0 @ 95 is pretty impressive for a stock engine/turbo/exhaust car.....how much stuff did you tear out of it to get that? NO MBC? NO K&N? wheres that BS smilie. j/k.

Mine ran 14.99 @ 90 bone stock.

yeah, just dp and exhaust for the 14.08 - i would've done better but my clutch was slipping like crazy. no bs either! after that run, i was pulling like 14.1 and 14.2 b/c my clutch was slipping worse, probably from being too hot. When i took the motor out and did the rebuilt on a different one, i noticed my flywheel had hot spots, etc.

Yeah, i'm definitely going to miss the car, i barely drove it - only 2200 miles. I can't imagine what it'll be like once completed w/ upgraded turbo. Who knows what i'll get instead.

Oh yeah, on the run i had the rear of the car stripped

AHHH....i hate these threads...dont get rid of it...they are fricken beautiful and awesome cars. most people are jealous of GSX's too because of the AWD and that other thing...hmmm....oh ya...a turbo

half of me wants to keep it, the other half wants me to sell it. I want to sell it b/c its a money pit. I still need another 3-4,000 to finish it the right way. That's not including other stuff I would like to get. Plus the EVO is looking good but I don't want to go back into that stuff

Haha, you don't know how many times I've said "I wish I bought an auto", because of trying to drive my manual AWD. Especially when the carpet decides to bunch up underneath the clutch pedal, that's always a lot of fun.

But you should keep your car, it sounds like a good car overall, and we all know that they will have problems. But if you decide to sell it, I doubt you'd have a problem selling it seeing as how many people want GSXs.

I purchased it in early fall, drove it rarely b/c I was using the 'beater' to get places. Then in March, I stripped it and since then was building it. Everytime I think I have all the parts for the motor, I find out I need one more. I had to replace a bunch of bad sensors, etc. I knew it was going to be a big project, but sheesh! I just don't have the time like I used to I guess.

As for problems, I had my slave/master clutch cylinder fail. The calipers were shot. I had random CEL come on before my exhaust. Just a bunch of little stupid shit to piss you off.

I didn't even care about those problems back in the day. Its just I want something new and reliable I guess.
