i have a 98 GSX i dont have the manual, is this right....... 5w30,4.5 quarts?

it should be 10w-30 unless the weather that you are in is cold. and 4 quarts will get the job done. :thumb:

well i just put in 5w 30 and ur right its for cold weather, i ####ed up, should i drain it or is it ok

Edit: I personally would change the oil but I'm a total car weirdo. Personally I say change it but if you don't have the spare cash then don't. It will be fine for 3k-6k miles.
