saskatoon,
Hey, i just bought a Seibon carbon fiber hood, and i put it on, but there is a huge gap in the front.. I tried adjusting the latch, but nothing worked.. how can i fix it? thanks!

that must suck, if i paid around 500 bucks or so for a c/f hood i would expect it to fit pretty damn good. ive seen and heard of people having similar problems. good luck though.

:Verify that it is latching all the way. On my old Focus I had a Carbon Fiber hood, and I had to push down right over the latch area pretty hard, but it would eventually latch and all the gaps look good.

To tell you the truth I always thought it was to tight of a fit if anything. :|

I got one from VIS and it was warped. Fits perfect on the one side but other is gapped and not flush. Not to mention that only three bolts go in OMG

I thought that Seibon had great fitment?

Hey, thanks everyone, but i just put some washers in the bolts that attach my hood, adjusted the stoppers and had to put a little bit of pressure and it fits fine, and i only spent 325 for my hood haha, thanks again everyone

i think it looks good personally...i also ran into the same problem recently...i used the washers that came with the vis hood to adjust the way the hood layed down...now it pretty much lays as stock...wasnt really looking forward to hood pins....and you def save about 10 to 15 pounds
