I just recently put on a new CF hood. It is a little narrower than the stock hood. I was told that the fenders can be "pushed" in to take the gap away. I wanted to be sure before I put a wrench to the bolts and scratched them up. Has anyone had to do this? Is it true?

How big is the gap?
I am sure you could at least a little bit. I don't know from personal experience but I don't see why it wouldn't work. Worst case you might have to auger out the holes a little.
How far are you from Portland?
