the more i think about it, i wonder if its just the fact that the hood is so light compared to the stock one that i am pushing harder to make up for the weight difference... very happy with the fit just... not sure if i like the style of the hood now that its on...

really not much to show for install. Old hood was held on by 4 bolts, approx. 4 and a half minutes of work and the new hood was on :thumb:.. very very simple absolutely no adjustement was needed. now to get them damned washer nozzles in.. i'll post better pictures if it doesn't rain today..

Careful until you get the hood-pins on!

Believe me I am I added twenty minutes to a ten minute trip to work to avoid highway speeds. Haha

You can adjust the round rubber stops up or down. My hood closes very easily and I just push it down until I hear a click.

I had a ViS Vader hood on my 99 GS for over a year....no hood pins needed. As long as you get it to latch it aint coming off...unless it literally breaks the striker off of the hood. If you cannot get it to latch then yes...Pin that SOB
