Cf Hood + 2g Mas Question?

Hey guys,

Just need some quick questions answered.
First, Where can I get a CF Hood for a 90 GSX??? Anyprice is ok, plus im looking for one that could have hood pins.
Second, If I run the 2g MAS, could I vent the BOV without stalling?
Sorry for the newb questions, Just want to stick with the SAFC and not the GM MAF's.

dont know about the cf hood would like to know though, but no you cant vent to atmosphere with just a 2g mas you will need a gm maf or adjust the fuel curve etc with an afc

VIS makes a carbon fiber hood.

No you can't vent unless you run a GM MAF AND MAFT.

Adjusting the fuel wont do anything to help the problem. The only CORRECT way to vent is to buy a MAFT and put it between the BOV and TB, or get a VPC.

30 seconds on googl will show you all the companies that sell those hoods.

Damn, I wanna vent, but I also heard getting a GM MAF eliminates the point of having an SAFC. Is this true? Because I would like to still tune with the SAFC.

The only reason you are going to spend 300.00 or so dollars is to vent???

No the MAFT will not negate the need for a AFC. You can get the car close with a MAFT and then fine tune with an AFC.

I would save yourself the 300.00 and just leave it be. That sound really isnt that cool.
