Has anyone out there had a problem with a clutch needing to be adjusted every couple days? I also have a rattle noise when the clutch pedal is fully depressed. It is a centerforce dual friction clutch.

This is a cable operated clutch installed in a Mighty Max pickup with a 4g63t swap. I adjusted the cable so the clutch engages about 2 inches from the floor. About a week goes by and i have trouble shifting because the clutch is now engaging .5 inch from the floor. I also blew apart the trow-out bearing in 5000 miles from the time I installed the clutch. This clutch was designed for a cable operated 4g63 truck tranny. I have adjusted the cable and pedal height 3 times in a couple thousand miles. cable is new.
