Ok so I removed everything from the tranny to get to the center diff. so that I can get it welded. Everything was a breeze until the easy part of actually taking out the center diff. It is suppost to slide right out. Mine however slips out and little bit and then doesnt want to go any further. I was wondering if any one has had a problem like this happen and what it turned out to be? any tricks or ideas to get it out? Thanks alot!

it seemed to be seized on the shaft.

How hard was it to get the Viscous Coupling off? if you had to PRY it off be VERY carefull when you put it back on...IE use a soft mallet and not a steel hammer as it can mess up your center diff. Also, the VC may look solid enough but if you hit it too hard with a regular hammer then you will mess it up too...trust me I had to replace both VC and center diff...I did not think I was hitting it hard either just tapping.

EDIT: well damn...just realized that you are welding the CD. Disreguard my post :)
