for some reason computer didnt upload anything yesterday, so here it is:

I decided to make a dual gauge pod out of my center vent. This is the result. Just needs to be painted, and the pods wired.

How did you take out the vent cluster? Do you just pull it out?

BTW: Looks good... I am thinking about putting my AFC there, but I would also like to have a small vent there still.

yes, I was afraid to just yank on it at first because it seemed like something was holding the vents back... and there is. So you have to pull on the trim, and gently push on the vents to separate the two, but becareful, because the vents have 4 clips holding them to the trim. 2 on top, and 2 on bottom. Mine came out without any breaking. You can see the 2 top clips in the picture. The grey is the trim, and the black part behind was the part that held the vents.

And, I already have a dual A pillar pod, with boost and egt. I couldnt think of anything else I would find useful after the trans tenp. And, since our cars dont have clocks, I decided to put one in.

Hey, Can someone please HELP me? I know I've found a center vent mounted boost gauge and/or controller for a 1st gen, but i can't seem to be able to find it now. Does anyone know what I'm talking about?:talon:

Are you talking about the gauge holder? There are some that completely get rid of the center vent, and some that still have some slits in it, so air can still get through.

i've seen the pics on this site of custom??? gauge pods. like under the radio (thats what i really want) or in the glove box or in the center box. i can't seem to find out where to buy it or something like it. so if i can't find it are you guys fabricating it and if so where can i get that plastic sheet or whatever i'm suppose to use? any help will help! thx here's some examples i got from members.
