When i have the throttle open the car would throw a CEL. The CEL would come on at certain rpms and if i go WOT while the CEL is on, the motor would lag bad. I would build up boost and the car would go nowhere. While building up boost it would also stutter. I been having problems diagnosing this problem due to the CEL not staying on.

if its that bad the ecu probably still had the code stored so you need to pull it. you could be knocking really bad but unless you have link i dont think your car would through a code unless your knock sensor is done for. also do a full boost leak test to make sure. one thing can trigger another and next thing you know you fixed something that wasnt broken.
