Hey guys, i did some looking around and am having trouble finding an answer to this problem. First of all i am new here obviously and i purchased a car that was previously on this site. Member illegit420AT . Anyways here it goes, since i got the car there has been many issues fixed, all exhaust leaks are fixed and the car idles and boosts pretty smoothly at the point. The current problem I am running into is that the car needs inspection and the car is throwing a TPS malfunction code. I understand the SAFCII reads from the TPS and i was wondering how i can get this code to go away. Thanks guys!

I would post this in the 420 section but my post count isn't high enough.

Help please? I literally obtained this car last night

Put the AFC in to sensor check mode with the engine off key on, and then do a throttle sweep to see if the sensor values change accordingly.......If the sweep is smooth and changes with out falling out of range (voltage dropping to zero and then wildly going back and forth) then the sensor is good. If it does wig out in the middle of the sweep then the sensor probably needs to be replaced- either way though the ecu is telling you to check the TPS or check the CIRCUIT.....If the AFC is incorrectly wired or blown up, then it too can cause the ecu to pop codes-
