well i went to the local core house and there's a ton of 4g63's 1 of them looks brand new .. i mean 100% clean block head the the whole thing looks spotless .


But anyways im trying to find a 1g long block to have ready ...


Can anyone help me with were the casting numbers are on these jokers its kinda dark in the warehouse. :aha:

i need a way to tell the 4g63's vrs 4g63t with out takeing them apart... 100.00 for a long block is a steal around here LOL.
 
You can check the VIN on the block; it should be just below the head on the transmission side, towards the intake side of the engine. The 8th digit will tell you what engine it is: an "U" or an "F" is a turbocharged 4G63 block.
