Ok, so i read through all the CAS threads prior to posting this and could not find a specific answer to my question/concern.

I am running ECMLink and in the process of replacing my CAS sensor on my 93 Eagle Talon and was wondering if i have to use the same process prior to ECMLink for setting my timing? (Ground the pin on the firewall)?? Or can i use ECM Link and set my timing? I am also pretty new to ECMLink. Still trying to figure out the basic tuninig.

You can ground it via link. In ECU Config, go to the Misc tab and check "Ground timing connector to ECU" and click "Copy to ECU". Then after you've set timing using a timing light, uncheck the box and click "Copy to ECU".

Make sure to set timing with the car up to temp.

Also make sure when you install the new CAS the engine is at TDC and the CAS is lined up. Note the center paddle that spins and how the concave section in the end lines up with the notch right in front of it.

Well i got it replaced and timed using ECMLink and all is working well.Still trying to get the car tuned, or at least get idle down. Having trouble keeping AF/Per Rev down and running somewhat lean and getting way too much knock. Thanks for the help.
