Where is the CAS located on a 7 bolt? ive looked around and can't find it, and i've searched and i can't find anything saying where its at exactly, thanks for any help you give

Above pic is the Crank Trigger. 2Gs have both a CAS(Cam Angle Sensor) and a Crank Trigger.

Your CAS should be bolted to your Intake CAM Gear.

You should be more specific then 7-Bolt. 1G 7-Bolts have just a CAS (no Crank Trigger) and are located on the passenger side on the of the Intake CAM. 2Gs have different CAS setups depending on year. But the CAS is always on either side of the Intake CAM.

if your cas is bad the car will barely start let alone run because your injectors will put an insane amount of fuel into the motor. im currently having this problem.

1 - Disconnect the electrical connector for the CAS/CPS
2 - Ground your voltmeter
3 - With the key in the ON positions and probe terminal 1, 2,3
4 - Use terminal 4 and check continuity

Terminal 1 = 4.8-5.2V
Terminal 2 = 4.8-5.2V
Terminal 3 = 12V

Where is the CAS plug and all that located at on a 2g 7 bolt? I know the CAS is behind the cam gear, but I'm unsure of where the plug is.

yeah its for the 95, and holy hell, i didnt know they changed it that much, i wonder why they felt such a desire to move the CAS so much through out both generations

yeah its dumb. well the cam and crank sensor plugs are both on the driver side by the cam gears one is square and the other is triangular shaped

just dont confuse the two triangular plugs the plug for the AC is the same and its over there too

which do i unplug? i need to test the CAS

oh and can you tell me what plug is the CAS? i see a sqaur one and a triangular one, actually two triangular ones, one is plugged in and one isn,t and the squarish one is plugged in aswell
