And the white car with the body kit I wish I had taken a pic of the ford explorer I saw the other day with a full underbody kit and about 24" rims. Ridiculous...

Yes they do have quite a bit of aftermarket, and factory support, TRD superchargers, and a few fully bolt on turbo kits. It is apples and oranges, just like I've seen my fair share of na Hondas that will walk a turbo. It just takes time and money. I just swapped from supercharged to turbocharged on my 2k miata because 215hp wasn't enough.

But then again a small underpowered van that gets over 30 mpg everyday of the week, and can carry 5 people comfortibly, or haul a wheelchair bound person can't beat a 1st gen turbocharged eclipse. Oh my bad... But then again they're the same right?

You brought up racing/power production first. I was playing you at your own game, now you're discussing 2JZ swapped XB's. AFAIK that's not what I'd call a bolt on. And yes, n/a hondas have gone 9's, but they aren't a Scion xB are they? I'll give you a hint, the answer isn't yes.


xB's are slow. Period. You brought up the racing/speed conversation. They get great gas mileage and can transport people, awesome, but don't get all butt-hurt if you mention how xB's have "a ton of aftermarket go fast goodies, and that they can give your n/t DSM a run for its money" and not expect for someone to troll you.

I gave the kid with the fast and furious 120mph eclipse the benefit of the doubt. I emailed him and asked him what upgrades he has, and what kind of tranny and rear end it has. He told me it has a turbo transmission and stock rear end??? Wtf!

Tell him your a mechanic and to be more soecific rcause you dont believe his 2nd gear claim and if it really dors do 120mph in 2nd youll pay double his asking price.

Seen a four door Altima today. It appeared to be stock, with the exception of bright shiny wheel covers from walmart. Had something like "Francis Racing" written on the back glass with window chalk. Could be a "sleeper" for all i know.

Too bad i did not have a camera.

You must have lots of mods like those guys from fast and furious" he replied with just awd aftermarket rims and turbo I said "no way man has to have more than that that's so fast!!!" He proceded to say 'im just a good driver ' I then let him know that I was just screwing with him. He wasn't happy haha.
