My friend tyler took his "racing" lawnmower to the drags and beat a old VW bug ROFL

this car confuses me. it has R/T stickers on the side and the trunk says "sport". don't forget to notice the huge sagging exhaust tip.

When I lived in VA there was this event where they raced tractors, it was interesting to say the least.

Just search GRASCAR.

The rednecks around here will race anything...and it's a big deal. A lot of these things are purpose-built racing lawn mowers with custom frames, etc. (I can't even type that with a straight face). ROFL

It's hilarious, and they are completely nuts...

LOL, not yours. Mr Wheelie, up there. :p

Totally going in my signature. :p

Well.. honestly, I haven't bought a Lawnmower yet. I moved into my house on short notice. I was actually fixing it up and was going to move in a few months down the road, but when you go home and see 40 cars with people flagging you in because your roommate wants to throw massive parties, it get irritating when you work the job I do. So I moved out THAT night to an unfinished house.

So I borrow a friends mower from time to time. I'm about to move into a larger place with a garage so I can actually work in a climate controled environment and the house isn't as big of a project as our cars. ;P

To answer your question, in short ; I've had it up to my waist at the beginning of the summer. And in the backyard it was above my head when I first moved in. xD So I could have actually used a Wheelie-able Riding mower at that time. The video would have been priceless.

Note : LMMFAO xDD That above video!!

That blue one at 0:24 = Totally the DSM of the Lawnmower Racing World.

In true ricer fashion, I know for a FACT this thing probably makes about two horsepower with that giant muffler on it. These small engines operate on tuned backpressure, and a muffler that huge would offer no restriction at all. It would run the same as if the exhaust was disconnected just before the muffler....much like putting 3" exhaust on a non-turbo car.

But as long as it looks cool, it MUST be faster....right?

I have 3" exhaust on my n/a and it doesn't hurt my performance.

this makes me wanna :barf: . The only reason i would want to "tune" my lawnmower is to spend less time using it, not to make a redneck go-cart

I just realized that Donk I replied to was from NC. Better yet, from Wilson. I believe the poster 1000% when he says he's seen worse. Anyone on here long enough to remember the 2g with 19" spinners? Also from Wilson.

Woooooow...I lived in Wilson for years. Went to James B. Hunt Highschool, saw a lot of ricers there. This was around the time Fast and the Furious just came out LOL

I'm actually surprised they didn't have a mower with an LS1 in this video.

It's only gotten worse, I am so glad I wasn't born here. I'm moving back to vegas as soon as I get my house sold.

I don't know if you'd remember this but around 03 or 04 there was this kid Brad that had the 99 civic with lambo doors, shaved, neons and SHIIIIINY chameleon paint hehehehe. I was just in wilson not long ago to visit my mother but I didn't see anything too bad.

For the sake of not turning this thread into an argument about backpressure, velocity, and loss of torque without a turbo, as well as add information from personal experience, I'll go ahead and agree with you on this one.

You're 100% correct. :thumb:

We're not saying it's a Merc wing. I've seen so many Cougars with our spoilers. What I am trying to is, I think Ford bought some of our factory 2gb turbo spoilers and used them. Ford didn't buy those from Wings West. I don't know how I am supposed to "prove" it. But me, and a lot of people have obviously seen them a lot. That's one HUGE coincidence if all those people decided to use, and assumed our wings would fit their Cougars.

Something about this car just caught me wrong.

Shitty size.

o.o Eh... F&F

I've seen MUCH worse though.

;P What if it's a GSX?

Hahah. I doubt it is. Likely just a 420a with a CAI and 'Fast as hell'.

I have an adversion to body kits but that front end doesn't look too bad IMO. Dunno how it would look at a different angle though. At least it's clean and not multi colored or plastered with stickers and what not. Not a fan of the side skirts or wing though.
