Cars Randomly Shutting Off

I recently put a 1G BOV on my 2G and its been working for like 5 days with no problems. Today I was driving and it was just randomly shutting off sometimes. I wasn't driving it hard I was just driving normal. I have a feeling it has to do with the BOV but not sure why it randomly started happening now. Any help would be greatly apprciated.

Put you 2g BoV back on there drive it to see if it still shuts off. Are you sure you you put connected all hoses to the 1 g BoV ? is the BoV tightly secured to the upper IC pipe ?
