car wont start. flashing lights

ok i just put a new transfer case on my talon. the battery died in the process so we jump start it.. it ran fine during the test drive. We got it back to my house and killed it, noticed that the gas was empty so we filled it up tried to start it again and the battery died while we went to the gas station so we jumped it again and it started fine but then it went into an idle surge. It puttered down then died, jumped it again but this time when the battery got a charge all lights in the car and outs ide including yield lights brake lights and gauges were flashing on and off. i pulled the jumper cable and havent looked at it sense. can any one help with this problem i have no clue what this is and why, this is a problem i have yet to face. please any help is appreciated

Could be a few things. First Check your fuses and relays. I knew someone with a similar problem and it ended up being the Alternator fuse (80A) by the right front quarter panel. Also check your grounds for shorts. and if you want to get really into it, pull the alternator and bring it to auto zone or something and have it tested.
