I pulled my car into the garage and the car was running perfectly

I installed an evo maf and 650 injectors. i had my ecu socketed and installed my chip from dsmchips.com.

the car will not start. it cranks but will not start

everything in the car works, lights/radio/seatbelts etc.

Check to see if you snapped the chip into the ecu. a friend of mine had the same problem his car wouldn't run after a week of running fine and we found that he didn't push the chip deep enough into the socket. and that fixed the problem.

it has the original ecu installed, I simply installed a chip into that ecu. I wouldnt think that it would be because it is loose; the ecu was professionally socketed and then the chip was pressed into the socket.

the CEL does come on before the car is started, but i was under the impression that that was normal, if not what does that mean? my only thought is it has to be injector related because the car is cranking and sparking. im gonna run a couple more checks, but like i said everything ran perfect before i added the maf/injectors and chip so it has to be related to those

I am getting spark, and I have fuel pressure. but i dont know if the injectors are actually working. I have tried unpugging the MAF but that didnt help anything. If i were to plug my original MAF back in, wouldnt i be extremely rich? if it would work at all

it only sparks, the fact that it wont run is my problem, it will crank forever, just not start up. I dont see the CAS just goin bad. I drove the car into the garage with everything working great.

It definitely sounds like an injector issue. You can hear the pump run I assume?

If you get a bad CAS signal the ECU won't fire the injectors, but unless you did something else underhood recently I'd be more inclined to think there's a problem with the socket job or chip programming. There's no burned traces on the board are there?

Where in Morgantown are you? I might have a few minutes to spare tonight. Send me a PM.

well the car has still not started. I switched back to my original MAF and it remained identical. it will just crank. will not start. i checked each plug and they are all getting great spark. and my pump is def working and i have full fuel pressure. its set at about 40 psi.

I have another eprom ecu that i might resort to trying, the only issue is one is pre 90 and the other is post 90 so i know i have to swap a couple pinouts.

any other ideas?

just tried plugging in the ecu that I know is good. the car responded the same way. this ecu was programmed for 450cc and i have 650cc injectors though, and i didnt swap the pinouts either. it started raining so i had to cut it short
