Well I Took the intake off to clean and polish it and to clean out the maf because it was idleing really high, but since I put everything back now the car idles really great, only now when I floor it and let go it will drop the rpms so low that the cat dies but with normal driving the car doesn't turn off only when I step on the gas

Ohh and my air/fuel guage keeps jumping from rich to lean and all wild but will sometimes just stay on rich.
....when i bought the car the guage never moved like that it mostly stayed on rich

Maybe I disconnected a hose or a line that I can't think of??????
Thanks

Those silly narrow-band AFR gauges should cycle when the car is in closed loop (idle and cruise) and DSMs run nasty rich in open loop (WOT), so that part sounds fine. I'd focus on the stalling when you lift. There are tons of threads on this. Join in on one of those.

Yea well now that i took it off again it just stays on rich all the time, that's how I was when I got it but now it runs better and turns off a little less

You, sir, either have created a boost leak or fixed a massive boost leak.

For that Narrowband, the best way you can utilize it is to clock your best friend in the head with it during a cheerful game of "Dodge the worthless car Mods".

You should perform a BLT, first and foremost.

I would spray the MAF with cleaner. they sell it at autozone and make sure everything is hooked up correctly.

BLT and did you recirc your BOV after removing the intake?
