i have been having this issue myself. if anyone could shine some light on the issue would be helpful. I notice mine will crank but wont start. after i do it a few times it turns over then back off. i disconnect the fuel rail and it turns over for a sec. after i reconnect the fuel rail it turns over and back off. after 2 or 3 times of doing this it finally stays on but takes a while to build up pressure and i get a low throttle response. This only happens at a cold start though. Could it be my sensor too?

I have a similar problem. On cold starts I have to crank for 6-7 seconds, but once it's warmed up it will start right back up (e.x. after running into a store.)
I have a feeling that my fuel rail is losing pressure. Reasons unbeknownst to me, yet. I'm sure a search through the forums will turn up an answer.
Ive search and turned up nothing so far. some say could be a sensor issue others say i just need a bigger fuel pump with a regulator. My friend says it could just be my injector seals are faulty and im leaking pressure but i checked and havent seen any leaks around it....any ideas??? i wanna get this issue fixed.

Ive also read that if you have an aftermarket FPR it takes it a few extra cranks to get it up to pressure... My car will crank over then start cold after about 5-6 seconds, but be very rough @ about 400 rpm, I turn it off and back on then voila, runs normal.
Sounds like a pump or clogged filter though if your car is mostly stock.
Edit, forgot to mention mine is caused by a Fuel lab afpr

Or your fuel filter is clogged
