At low RPMs i get a really bad shutter, buckin, and slight backfire. It starts like this, I pull out in first just fine, shift into 2nd and give it throttle and stutters, bucks alittle, and backfires and little. I leave off the throttle the get back on it slowly and it goes away some then stops. I shift into 3rd and it starts again. Seems to do it only between 2-3.5k. I pulled these codes, Cam Angle Sensor Bank 1 circuit malfunction, EGR, and EVAP. The EGR and EVAP have been deleted so thats why they show up. The cam angle sensor is new and working. I knopw this because the car wouldn't start and i replaced the sensor and it started. Right now i need to know how and what to test on the ECU/Sesnor wiring to find out if i have a break in the wire or what else could cause this.

You probably checked your plugs and wires already but... I had the EXACT same problem. I spent weeks trying to figure out what the damn thing was. Ive got a post like this on here somewhere too. It turned out to be a mixture of spark plug gap and my wires were corroded where they connect to the top of the plug. I changed them and it worked perfect. It is however doing the same thing again. I'd check that out whenever you get a chance. Its a lot less time consuming than tracing your ecu wires. Oh and I used all the spark plug testing tools and they all said everything was fine. It wasn't until I gave it and just bought new plugs and wires that I finally got it fixed. Let us know!

k so i got home today and regapped my plugs to 60 (the coil i have recommends 65). It seems to idle alot better, but its still doing it. Seemed to help the stuttering problem but it still happens. Im thinkin my plugs are shot. im gonna go get new ones tonight and see if that helps at all. Forgot to add after driving it this afternoon i pulled the codes again and the CAS code is gone. I also tring my hardest to "knock loose" that broken wire. Yea theres no bad wire.

what are the symptoms of WOT?
also you said its fine in first gear? what % throttle are you giving it in 1st?
did this prob show up directly after doing the CAS?
did you unplug your MAF at all, mine did the exact same thing when my maf plug failed, was all gears tho

chnaged my plugs and no change. Found out ti does it in all gears whenever i put the car under heavy load. im gonna try switchin Coilpacks and wires. Would bad gas cause this? The cars been sitting for 5 months with an open fuel line. it kinda reminds me of when you suck up water in your intake.

Well, fuel could be your problem definitely, and that's a pretty easy fix. So, I would start with that.
If that doesn't do it then I would move onto your plugs and such.

Liquiz, the OP has a 420a, so he has no MAF.

why diddnt you just say HEY PAY ATTENTION! ROFL

+1 on bad gass, theres an additive called heet, dump a bottle of that in there, does wonders for bad gas...just used some in my mower that had gas in it from last summer and was sitting in a non heated shed. 1/3 bottle of heat and a couple pulls fired right up...granted it was now at like 120 octane, but whateva :rocks:

LOL yeap i just dumped a bottle in. im gonna let it sit till tom.
