hello. sorry for postin this here but for some reason it wouldnt let me post on tranny, plus i have some other questions.. i have more than a couple questions hopefully ppl with more experience could help me..

1.- today i was driving my car back from school... and for some reason i need to take off quick so i step on the gas on 1st gear, and i tried shiftin into 2nd at 5.5k rpms.. and it wouldnt let me... so i waited as soon as my rpms when like at 3.2k it would let me put it on 2nd... it only happens on 2nd i have noticed... and only when im higher than 3.5k rpms... throw out bearin? tranny? clutch?.. i been hearing the throw out bearing grinding when cold.

2.i have accel 30lb(310cc) and a super fmu and im wondering what should be an aprox. of my fuel pressure with those injectors.. and what disk should be fine? 7:1, 5:1, 3.25:1 and 2.5:1...

3.- over the spring i wanna do my a cometic bore 88.5mm headgasket and arp headstuds.... how much boost with the fuel set up mention before i would be safe to run.. this is my everyday car..

Sounds like a synchro is going bad...

That depends on a lot of different factors, but I wouldn't count on more than 16psi.

on stock pistons and rods?
 
~8psi is a limitation of the common "255lph + 235cc + 12:1 FMU" combo, not the rods or pistons. (I'm considering recording that to a macro.)

It is unlikely the stock internals would handle 16psi.
 
how can i fixed that only by rebuilding my tranny??? n if so does anybody has a tranny for sale? hahaahaa.....
