sup guys i have some questions about my 95 gst. first the car has oil all over the spark plugs on the top of the valve cover and wondering if it could be the oil cap i have to clean this everytime im done driving the car . and also when im in fourth or fifth gear and boosting like around 4500 rpm the car has like a hickup. it studers twice but it does not happen in lower gears also the fuel pump is whining alot and wondering if im going to need a new one thanks. ps the car is all stock no mods exept a blitz bov. if that helps thanks.

I would get a new oil cap to prevent the oil from coming out under pressure. I have had good luck with my evo cap. Seems like the auto parts stores area all junk to me. I'd also get some NGk bpr6es as for your fuel pump. it sounds like you might have a wb 255

Fix the oil leak first but also look into spark plugs and spark plug wires. My get would sputter at about the same in 5th ended up being my sparkplug wires.

Alright ima get the stock plugs because i have new ngk platnimum but i have no idea how old the wires are. And how can i check if the fuel pump is a wally?

Pull the pump and look at the markings on it, and then search on here/Google.

Replace the oil cap, like people mentioned before change your plugs and wires. A wally fuel pump can be loud but a fuel pump going bad can sound the same. Do like Snowborder714 advised and pull the pump and check to see if its a wally. If its not a wally go ahead and replace it because it sounds like the fuel pump might be going out.

Check your valve cover for cracks had this happen To a friend it was spray oil all over everything

Dsm-man is also correct. I just replaced my valve cover a couple of months ago due to hair-line cracks. Found a nice used one on ebay that was cleaned up and coated with Lab-metal and powder coated for about 80 bucks shipped.

the wining is most likely because you have a 255 fuel pump and as fas as the oil you problay just have a crack in your valve cover or need a new valve cover gasket

Alright were would you recomend getting the oil cap because i agree that auto parts oil caps are crap. And were is the pump located? Is it under the back seat?

just found out my valve cover is craked. have to start searching for a new one.

Yes the fuel pump access is under the rear seat. If your car is all stock I don't see why you would have a larger pump in it. But still you can check anyway if its stock then get a replacement.

Change the fuel filter while your at it too.
