I have my CEL is on it's pumping out the "MAS circuit codes"
P0110 IAT Sensor Circuit Malfunction,
P0100 MAF or VAF A Circuit Malfunction,
P0105 MAP/BARO Circuit Malfunction
I just replaced the MAF sesnor and the Coolant Temperature sensor. I had very bad idle problems where the car would just shut off and die when I crank it with the MAF pugged in. Now, with my new MAF sensor my car runs perfectly, HOWEVER, when it gets warmed up and my temperature gauge starts to go up it starts to idle low and starts fighting to stay alive, if you give it more gas its fine, but when you stop giving it gas it just goes back to low low idle and then eventually dies after a while. That is why I thought it was a temperature thing and replaced the Coolant Temperature sensor.

What should I check next? I've read everything that came up in the search on the forums for these codes. I'm pretty sure it's not a vaccum leak, and read that the ECU might have a ground short? Is that my next step to pull my ECU and take a look at it? I have a 2G N/A Spyder so where is my IAT sensor located I can't seem to find it.

Thanks.

Did you get a new maf or another used one? Its possible this "new" maf is also bad.

Also check your wiring to make sure that your harness hasnt been crushed or cut.

Also try to unconnect the plug and reconnect it as it may just be a bad connection.

I bought my MAF new from Advanced, and I did check the wiring. I don't really see anything wrong with the wiring. However, the owner before me had a new filter put on it but did not mount the stock intake. So it was able to move up and down, so that might of been able to damage my connecters? But I don't think it's a wiring problem because when it's pugged in it'll start unlike before with the old one and it'll run smoothly until the temperature gauge goes up and then it starts idleing very low.

I'm putting a Weapon R Secret Intake in Tuesday and I will check all the values and plugs and wiring again when I mount that thing on.

pretty good chance your bad maf may have fouled up you o2 sensor and after it warms up when it goes into closed loop and begins to use the o2 it dies out try unplugging the o2 and see if the prob gets better or goes away all together oh and just because there isnt a code tripped for the o2 doesnt mean its not bad

wait so our cars will turn on with out the o2 plugged in???

ok so i having the same proplem but mine seams to run beter after warm up. but it still has the same codes i replace the maf and no change im starting to think it is the map, or tps. i did a boost leak and its all good and smoked it so i know i dont have a vacume leak this will sound shadetree but i put a restrictor infront of my air box and its alot better like it was geting too much air but im still thimking tps or map

I had a similiar problem when I got to tucson, my car needed a new O2 sensor and had a bad idle due to the valve that goes between the head and intake to control idle( can't remember its name right now) but I would deffiniatly say to check your O2 sensor, that's the most likely reason, also have you noticed if your tailpipe is putting out any deposits? If so then it is definiatly going to be the O2 sensor, replace that and see if the problem goes away.

Yes, they'll start and actually run. 2Gs have 2 O2 sensors, one at the O2 housing just after the turbo and a second one after the catalytic converter, people with a wideband that don't have a welded bung use one of these 2 locations for their wideband reading. Even without having DSMlink to simulate the narrowband signal to the ECU it will work, on 1Gs because of only having 1 O2 sensor this is a problem.

OP: Check your ignition control module (transistor), at times when warmed up it tends to kill off cylinders if its bad.

i had a small leak in my exhaust man i put a new gasket in and now its doen alil better but not much change but mine idels fine it just boges under a load it acks like a 2 stroke i gota keep it in boost "powerband" for it can pull itself
