Edmonton,
I purchased my 95 Eclipse GS-T with a handful of aftermarket parts installed already. One of them is an APEXi blowoff valve. I've taken the time to read the newbie information and found out the downside to having a BOV. I'm not sure if the problem I'm having is directly related to the BOV or not. The problem is that no matter what gear or speed I'm going, if I throw it into neutral instead of gearing down, the revs bounce down to 100rpms and usually bounce back up to the 900rpm-ish idle, but sometimes the car will stall, and other times it will just idle roughly for a second or two. Is this related to the oxygen sensor and having the BOV blow off into the atmosphere? If so, how can I keep my BOV and fix this problem? Thanks!
