This started about 3 weeks ago. I was boosting my car up in 2nd and 3rd gear and got off of it and i had to come to a stop sign so i just pushed the clutch in and coasted to a stop and my car just shut off. I did an alternator and battery test and both are fine. When all of my accessories are on my radio shuts off when comming to a stop after boosting up my car. The only other thing i could think of is something with my ignition. Wondering if anyone else had this problem and could tell me why my rpms are dropping, and my car shuts off after boosting up my car.

Here are some things i have done to my car.

hks turbo timer
greddy type s bov
14b turbo
drag fmic
hallman boost controller
custom 2 1/2 in exhaust, no cat

maybe thoose things would help you guys help me out

Check your intercooler pipes/couplers for leaks. I thought I fried my motor once coz it would lose power when I hit 40mph. It happened to be a leak in my intercooler coupling and things were fine after that.

it doesnt do it when im on it. It happens after i push in the clutch and my rpms drop and sometimes my car shuts off other times my radio will shut off my lights will dim...today it wouldnt start up and i was playing with my igintion wires where i spliced them to install my turbo timer and the car started up. I am going to take a look at that tomorrow and put some more updates on here. I need to figure this out, its pissing me off!!

are you venting your bov to the atmosphere? not trying to be mean or anything...but if you are sometimes it will cause the car to idle bad and or stall.

Hi all

Some updates on my car. I am not venting my bov into the atmosphere. It turns out my battery was bad, and replaced the battery today. This sloved the dimming of the lights, my radio still cuts out on me, and the car is still trying to stall out. I checked my intercooler piping and couplers for leaks and there are none. My car runs fine and boosts up right and redlines at 7.6k like it is suppose to. I dont think there is a problem with the engine unless my ISC is bad. I was talking to one of my freinds and said I could have moisture in my gas tank and my car is not properally getting the fuel it needs. I am not getting fuel cut out or anything. I was also thinking maybe I could have a bad O2 sensor not sure if it is the 1st one or 2nd one. Wondering if that could cause any issues. My car seems to run fine except the stalling out issue.

Someone please try to help me out, i can not figure this one out
