Car not making boost, please help!

Ok guys I have a 95 gsx stock turbo. It hasn't been driven alot until tonight. Had it out for about 2 hours, let it sit for an hour. Took it out again. Maybe 10 mins after, while not in boost, the car sounded almost like it was hitting a rev limiter. It started sounding different and ran choppier than usual. ( I have cams) now when I drive it sounds like the turbo spools but the car is not pulling. It's running like crap as well. Open waste gate? Blown exhaust manifold gasket? Any help would be very much appreciated! Also the car now has a check engine light.

You should probably start with a boost leak test then see if the wastegate flange is stuck open.

ok guys bringing this thread back because i dont want to start a new one. I did blt she checked out fine. Did vacuum test, also checked out ok. im stuck, im pulling toward plugs or coil packs. i pulled the plugs, previous owner had denso iridium tipped fancy mumbo jumbo plugs in. they were black when pulled out. sprayed with carb cleaner and put them back in for now. im aware that i have an exhaust leak from my headers aswell.
