Well I was just driving normal and my car died in the middle of the road. Thought my ecu messed up again but no visual damage so I dont think that that is the problem.
Neither me or my friend have any idea. So if you guys can give me what you have an idea it could or might be, I would really appreciate it.

Thanks in advance,
Cody Inskeep

having your heads re-conditioned is about $600 but its pretty easy to tell if your timming is off or not. For instance you can take a hack saw blade (or any other this straight edge) and line it up with the notches in the edge of the gears. If they line up then your timming is ok, but if not then its off. I know this because I have put 4 timming belts on my car so fare.

If it does end up being the head, take a careful look at the damage. If it's just valves, replacing them isn't a big deal but if it's valves and guides, consider buying a used head off of someone. Or you could spend the $600 to get a new head...

Gosh, I really hope you guys are wrong about it being the Head. I just dropped about 1200 on suspension and wheels/tires the last thing i need to hear is this. But regardless I do believe that when I get it fixed, im going to sell it. Just too much of a pain, and with my job and my car always breaking down, its not the best thing.

That is EXACTLY what happened when my balance shaft belt snapped and got caught in the timing belt screwing up my head... and it was at IDLE... 1500 later....  I feel bad for you man,

Steve, I dont know anything as of yet really. I just got back from messing with it(its at my parents house) before i go to work and i used an ohm's meter on the camshaft angle sensor harness and it was ok, but when i checked the actually sensor itself, it didnt show up anything. So maybe that is it?

Also, when i turned the key on, i didnt hear the fuel pump like usual, so now that might be the problem. I hope not because i just put it in like 1 month ago.

JessesTalon, I dont think thats the problem because when i took a quick glance down in that area no belts were broken. I really hope that that isnt the problem or something similar.

When i find out what it is, hoping that it wont be that expenseive, im selling it. Im tired of it having things go wrong.

Anyone want a new car? :|
