Car jolts and shudders when ease on gas

My 1G has been driving like sh*t lately, it doesn't seem to matter what gear I'm in or what RPM I'm at, when i start to ease on the gas pedal the car lunges and then cuts back and lunges again. I discovered my coolant reservoir was completely empty, I refilled it and it ran better for a bit but now it's happening again except there's no coolant missing this time.

Could this be my tranny, (just swapped in like 5000kms ago) or maybe something like a dirty throttle body or throttle cable sticking? I have 0 dollars to take it in and have someone look at it but I have no idea where to even start on this. Thanks

Oh its a FWD non turbo btw.

Oh and there are no check engine lights or low coolant or overheating warnings or anything like that.

Spark plug gap. I know it sounds weird but I had the same issue, replaced my plugs and it ran like new.

Spark plug gap is a good possibility, and free and easy to test. Otherwise it kind of sounds like a vacume eak

Can vouch for the gapping. Replaced the crappy autolites that the previous owner used with ngks and gapped them properly. Runs amazingly! Vacuum leaks caused the same issue in my last cars

Could also be TPS related, check the slack on your manifold. Bolts could have came lose or something stupid like that.

I would agree on the TPS as a possibility. Might not be adjusted properly and also the throttle stop switch might be also.

Fuel filter might be another possibility. My car would run fine at regular throttle but at low throttle it would bog and hesitate - I changed the fuel filter and Shazaaam!
