Been doing a daily commute of 70 miles a day with the old girl. She has been getting an average of 27mpg. The other day I decided to check base timing to see if it was off, it was waaaaay retarded. Set it to 5*BTDC and the car is much more responsive down low(shocker eh?). Drives smoother overall. I also replaced the trans fluid with Redline MT90. I swear by this stuff, this trans was hard to shift, would lock me out of gears at times, now it is smooth as butter. Best fluid I have found by far.
