I recently did a boost leak test.. and hacked my MAF-- put everything back together and now my car wants to die at idle... I checked everything several times... everything seems tight.... any ideas?:dsm:

If you haven't put the honeycombs back in, please do so. The hacked mas is why your idle is screwed up.

The top one is in but I took the bottom one out... isnt that what your suppose to do?

Unless you have a way of logging the car, and a way to tune it for the maf hack it usually just causes problems. I remember my 1G idled strangely much of the time after hacking. Needless to say the honeycombs went back in pretty quick. It causes it to not read linearly anymore.

Hacking it should be reserved for when you are maxing out the MAF.

Put them back in like quasi advised.
