Alright. A few days ago I attempted to install a boost gauge. Since then, my car has been running poorly. After it warms up, the car idles very low, under 400rpm. Also, whenever I engage the clutch to slow down, the rpm's crash, and the car stalls. I've been told that it's a boost leak. I checked over the vacuum lines that run from the T to the sensor, I noticed there were a few bends in the nylon tubing that came with the Autometer gauge, and a strange black residue on the tip and inside the tube that was plugged into the sensor. When I was trying to install the gauge, I cut the hose that runs from the intake manifold to the solenoid that controls the fuel pressure regulator. Today I removed the sensor, unplugged the wiring connector, and plugged the T for the vacuum hose. When driving around, the engine stopped cutting out when the clutch was engaged, but the rpm drops to less than 400rpm, and still idles low. Any thoughts as to what's wrong?
