I changed the exhaust system in my 97 TSI AWD and everything was going smooth. After i had installed the full 3inch (cat delete) system i even started the car a few times to see how it'd sound. I was supposed to reuse the rear o2 sensor but it just fell apart by itself when i was putting it in. So i just plugged the O2 hole in the new exhaust. When the sensor fell apart the 2 black wires and the blue and white wires of the O2 sensor were exposed (i'm pretty sure someone must've messed with it before) and touched each other a few times (I don't think that was good). So i got to start my car and it starts just fine but i when i start it the radiator fan comes on full blast by itself and the car dies in like 2 seconds and when it dies theres like this wierd noise coming from the exterior of the engine that sounds like marbles in a jar and theres another sound like a switch near the stereo. It will only stay on if i give it gas. I don't know what the %^&* it is. I've tried reconnecting the MAF, i've checked my intercooler pipes (they're all intact). My alternator, plugs, wires, battery, are all brand new and i had absolutely no problems until after the O2 wires touched each other. I've checked all my fuses and none are blown. The only mods i have are an Evo 3 GT, megan downpipe, xtune catback, and voodoo MBC. If anyone can help me out as to give me an idea what it might be, let me know.
