Cars been on and off the road for a few years now. Ive kinda grown out of my dsm but every now and then i fire her up for a drive. So i started her the other day and everything was fine until the car reached its running temp. Than it dies. As soon as it hits running temp it stalls right out. Ive tried this on a few occasions and i keep getting the same results. It will start up right away and idles perfect when its cold but as soon as it warms up it stalls out. If i keep my foot on the gas it will stay running and seems completely normal.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance!

The idle speed usually drops as the engine warms up. If there is a vacuum leak, it can cause the engine to die at lower idle speeds. I suggest attaching a vacuum gauge to the PCV valve hose and making sure the reading is credible (18 in-Hg or more).

If it threw a code it should still be in the history. Idk which software your using or how your logger works but you should be able to pull it still unless youve lost 12v+ to the ECU since it came on
