car didn't start up.

I was driving home. I got home and decide to do some working on the car. I had the headlights on(low beam) cause my garage did not have light. about 30min -1 hr later the car did not start up. It cranked and the cam gears were turning slowly but it was like it was choking and needed gas so i push the gas pedal. It did not work. Everytime i cranked the car the interoir lights dim alot. Could it be the battery? This is on a 6 bolt.

well that would be my first guess and only guess cause if ur interior lights dim while ur turning on ur car ur battery is weak, did u try jumping it. If its a 5 speed roll it down a hill (with you in it) and jump it in 2nd cause my car did the same shit one time but the car just buzzed at me, but odd part was interior lights still worked except the car did nothing to power on. it wouldnt even crank

i went back out and cranked it and it worked. then i turned it off and cranked it agian and it didnt even crank. It didn't work the second time. i am thinking it is the battery.

(dude im trying not to laugh)....yes it most definatly is the battery. jump it, charge it, or replace it. it probably will re charge itself, u just gotta let it run once u get it started
