Whenever i first start my car in the morning, for the first five miles or so of driving until it gets to operating temp, the car wants to bog down when i shift. i have to rev to like almost 4 grand just to take off in first and even then it shudders like it wants to stall. anyon have any ideas what could be causing this? or is it a common problem?

My friends 90 talon had the same problem we fixed it by changing fuel pump sounds odd i know but it would stall and bog down untill it got up to temp then it would run fine, if i were u id check simple things like what weight oil ur running to think make it hard to start and turn over untill its warm...id try running some diffrent cleaners through it seafoam is a good one id suggest
