Ok, so Im dying to tune my car, but this damn logger is the only thing setting me back at this point...Here's the problem:

Im running mmcd 1.5 on my PalmIIIXe....I have it connected to a cradle, and a diagnostic 3 prong connector hooked up....

When I go to log, usually, no data will even show up....Every once in a while the numbers will show up correctly, showing my rpm and timing, but a couple seconds later it will cut out for good....Most times, if the numbers appear on the screen, they are computer error numbers like 288 counts of knock randomly or 7999 rpm at idle....

When I go to "TEST" on the mmcd screen, and press the DTC button, it either says "ECU COMM ERROR" or "SERIAL COMM ERROR".....

I have just replaced the cable I had before with a higher quality logger cable known to work, and still, no data and the same 2 codes...

HELP PLEASE! Im not throwing my injectors in unless I know what my car is doing!

Thanks a bunch
-Josh

Input please!! My ABS light stays on all the time instead of just when the cable is in...Any input is welcome, unless it's not serious

If the cable is a known working cable and the palm is good then you must have it hooked up incorrectly or your connections arent good enough.
